The fact that opportunities of new businesses to acquire new available technologies
from market is achieving better results than the ability to transfer science and research
findings to the market.
Commercial Infrastructure Availability
Availability of the commercial infrastructure and business services infrastructure is
relatively good in Slovakia, this has a positive impact on the entrepreneurial activity.
The most available services are bank, law and accounting services.
The only negative factor, regarding the commercial infrastructure availability, is a bad
price availability of sub-suppliers, suppliers and consultants for new and prospering
businesses.
Market Characteristics
Although the entrance barriers are almost minimum and there are seemingly no
problems for new entrants to penetrate the market, the new and prospering businesses
cannot always afford to enter.
On the other hand, there is low market dynamics. The relatively lower dynamics of
changes in the consumer and business products and services market is not a sufficient
incentive for higher entrepreneurial activity.
Corporeal Infrastructure Availability
Positive evaluation of the corporeal infrastructure availability in Slovakia has positive
impact on entrepreneurial activity.
The availability of basic energies and communication services is highly ranked in
Slovakia.
Corporeal infrastructure support for new and prospering businesses ranked only
neutrally. The main reason is probably insufficient quality of the traffic infrastructure
in some regions.
Cultural and Societal Standards
Slovakia’s Cultural and societal standards regarding the entrepreneurial activity
support get mostly negative evaluations.
